Taekwon-Do is a Korean martial art of self defense based on scientific principles which can be learnt at any age from 5 years upwards.
Gradings are gained by showing profiency in basic techniques in hand and foot strikes, patterns (Tul in Korean) and sparring. Students learn control, respect and self discipline as part of learning TaeKwon-Do
Taekwon-Do literally means the way of striking with the hand and foot
All you need to begin are bare feet and clothes you can move easily in - you even get a free first try out class
